This conference provided an interactive, open discussion forum to explore safety and related issues that arise when conducting air carrier operations at airports in the high Arctic and similarly remote locations. Airport infrastructure issues, operational considerations, human factors limitations, and the changing regulatory and legislative environment, along with other pertinent topics, were discussed.
